Google product manager Andreas Tuerk wrote on the Google blog that nowadays, it is so easy to share information online via social networking sites, photo sharing services and more, what is the best way to manage your personal information online?

How do you run a online reputation management on your own good self? What is published about you? As a person!?

Tuerk rightly underlines that it is not just about what you post about yourself but about what other post about you too! So, he revealed the new 'Me On The Web' service from Google now available on the Google dashboard of your Google account. The 'Me On The Web' service is essentially the Google alert system adding items such as name and private data. Once the 'Me On The Web' watch created, the Google user will be emailed on a regular basis with updates.

Google now offers the possibility to request the immediate removal of private information from the web... It is a first for Google!

"This is just one of our first steps in continuing to explore ways to help make managing your identity online simpler," Tuerk said.

Be ready to be surprised!
