Using Alexa and Google Trends data, Vincenzo Cosenza drew a world map of social networks from 2009 to 2011.

See for yourself below, the conclusion is clear: besides Russia, Brasil, China, and the Kazakhstan area, FaceBook dominates the world of social networking websites. Lately, FaceBook has been recording its biggest user registration in Brasil: +11% in May 2011, i.e. 1.9 Million new registered users! The American  continent will soon be fully 'FaceBook blue'!
