June 15th 2011

TargetOnlineMarketing.com previously posted about the proposed Google Tax in France.

On Wednesday 15th of June, Oise region Senator Philippe Marini brought the proposed Google Tax law project back to life. Needless to say he did not like his law project to be waived off by french deputies Friday last week.

He using this new law submission to send a clear message to the Conseil National du Numerique - CNN, created by Sarkozy in April 2011, which did not support his law proposition. His message is loud and clear. This law is proposed so we start looking at taxing properly e-commerce businesses. That they are based in France or not. If they make money in France, we must find a way of taxing them. CNN do your job!

Until next time... Stay tuned!
